Cardiff University（卡迪夫大学）publishes its China entry requirements as a table, one row per programme, with three columns headed TIER 1 UNIVERSITY, TIER 2 UNIVERSITY and TIER 3 UNIVERSITY. The figures are the university's own thresholds for applicants holding a Chinese bachelor's degree. This page lists a representative set of rows exactly as published, so you can check your own programme against the same numbers.
What the numbers are
These values are a GPA figure on the 4.0 scale. Read them as the university writes them: as three named tier figures per programme, plus whatever additional entry requirement that same row carries. Whether your university falls into a particular tier is a question for the university's own assessment — the published table does not list which Chinese institutions sit in which tier, so there is nothing here to look up that way.
Note that the Architecture, Chemistry, Computing, Engineering, Geography and Planning, and Mathematics schools publish a UK requirement column alongside the tier figures and the IELTS columns. The Business school rows below carry an additional entry requirement instead.

The Mathematics row asks for a 2:1 honours degree in a relevant subject area such as mathematics or a related discipline. Data Analytics for Government names computer science among the relevant subject areas. The tier figures for Mathematics are the only row here where the second and third tier figures differ from the more common 0.7 and 0.8 pairing on a 2:1 requirement.
